Taos Activity

The closest is Taos Country Club at Rancho de Taos, about 15 minutes from our Taos hotel. This course embraces its New Mexico location by including classic desert features in its design: arroyos (a dry creek or stream bed) can be found both as obstacles and decorations, while the surrounding mountains make a scenic backdrop for your game.
The course measures 7,302 yards from the back tees. After your round, consider stopping by their Player’s Lounge and Restaurant for lunch. The Country Club has been given a four-star rating and placed within the state’s top five courses by Golf Digest.
The nearby Angel Fire Resort, commonly known for its skiing, runs 18 holes of its own during the summer season. Look for #6, its signature hole: a Par-3 with a 200-foot drop in elevation from tee to green. You won’t have to look far for great views of Wheeler Peak and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains!
The third course is Valle Escondido, 9 holes among a mountain homeowner’s association.
