This free, family-friendly event at the Millicent Rogers Museum is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and you can meet with Santa, make holiday crafts and ornaments, or try your hand at retablo painting!

Bonfires on Bent Street

Christmas Eve Torchlight Parades

December 24

Celebrate Christmas Eve and see the brave skiers rely on flares to show them the way down the mountain around 6 p.m. Most of the ski resorts have a torchlight parade and also have scheduled fireworks displays over the holiday season.

Taos Pueblo Feast Days

December 24 – 25

Visit the Taos Pueblo and watch the ceremonial dances in honor of specific Feast Days in the community. These days may honor the Catholic or Pueblo traditions and religious ceremonies and involve eating and visiting with family. If you are fortunate to visit the Pueblo on a Feast Day, please be courteous and respectful to the community and do not take photos of the dance nor applaud when it’s over. Upcoming Feast Days include: the Procession of the Virgin Mary on December 24 and the Deer or Matachinas Dance on December 25.
