Fishing in New Mexico is a yearlong activity you should not miss out on! Fish in the Red River for wild “cutbows” in the winter with the warm New Mexico Sun shining down or fish in a high mountain stream in the summer! Hotel La Fonda De Taos has teamed up with Solitary Angler. They will guide you on a half day or full day fishing tour of the northern New Mexico pristine trout waters! After an exciting day of fishing, return to the history Hotel La Fonda and enjoy a relaxing one hour massage.

Indulge in a glass of fine wine at Sabor By Antonio followed by dinner. Complete your evening relaxing by the fire in our mezzanine off the lobby, retelling tales of how you outsmarted a 20” New Mexico Brown Trout.

Finally retire to your luxurious King Plaza room and arise in the morning to a cup of Starbuck’s Coffee or tea in Noula’s coffee shop to start your new day!
