					Just passing thru for one night, a bit more than we wanted to spend but very cute, New Mexico atmosphere...Rooms are charming & very clean. What made our stay over the top was the service. Omar went above & beyond exceptional!!! Highly recommend

					I booked a one-night stay at Hotel La Fonda de Taos on a whim, and I have to say, I am incredibly glad that I did. This historic inn right on the plaza puts you at the center of Taos history, culture, and everything the town has to offer. It’s a great value with comfortable accommodations and has some unique sights for guests, like the D. H. Lawrence Forbidden Art collection that’s on display. Not only that, the staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Omar at the front desk, who was so welcoming and recommended some perfect local spots in the area to visit. He is a delight, and made my visit to Taos more memorable. I’m looking forward to staying at Hotel La Fonda again next time I’m in town.

					It was a childhood dream to get to stay there, but the difficulty getting to Room 121 was crazy. Up the elevator, then the steps down, then up to our room. It's not easy with a big suitcase. I suggest they have a bellhop to assist you.

					We came here to spend a night for my wife's 50th birthday. We arrived a bit early and asked if we could check in. The front desk attendant checked to see if the room was ready and it was! He told us he would be happy to check us in early, so we went and got situated. The room had a nice couch and a gas fireplace in the corner. The decor was a little worn, but it was a cozy room with a great view of the plaza from a balcony! Everything was clean, and as expected. It did get a little chilly later in the evening, and the front desk attendant went out of his way to locate a space heater that would toast up the room a bit. We had a great stay, we enjoyed walking around the plaza; briefly as it was freezing out, and it was very nice being so close to every type of restaurant you could desire. Keep up the good work and the great customer service!

					The evening desk guy gave me a ride out to the Kit Carson Electric Coop EV charging station to retrieve my car when he got off work at 11 pm. The hotel was fine. This dude is my hero.

					Thanks so much for a great stay this week. Room was very nice, comfortable and in a great location in town. I especially wanted to call out Omar at the front desk. He was kind, thoughtful, friendly, patient and had 100% follow through on all our questions and requests. He’s a gem!  Thanks again for such a lovely stay during our first trip to Taos!

					Located on the Plaza in downtown  is a historic  hotel! Parking is a bit tricky.  Hotel is quite nice and charming.  Rooms are a bit small and few amenities  however  you book here for the location  mainly.  You  can walk  to all the best stores. 👍

					Historic hotel on the plaza in Taos, gorgeously furnished, kinda quirky with a great start and competitive price. The penthouse suite is spectacular.

					We didn’t stay there we just popped in because we are familiar with the La Fonda in Santa Fe. She must get that question a lot as she came back saying that La Fonda means something generic.

The staff were attentive and welcoming and the lobby had a nice comfortable ambiance!
